It’s a sharing technology that is the brainchild of Apple. It enables you to screen share audio, video, photos, music, movies, and more between Apple devices and some other smart devices that have compatibility.

How to Enable Airplay on LG Smart TV
Before you can connect to the LG TV, you will need to activate the AirPlay app first. You can find this App on the Home Dashboard.
Here are the steps to follow.
1). First launch the LG Smart TV and check the internet connection
2). Press the Home button on the remote to get the menu and select the Home Dashboard in the menu.
3). Click AirPlay on the menu and it will present the AirPlay Settings on the screen
4). Select AirPlay to turn on
5). Open the Required Code. Click First Time Only to enter the code for the initial setup.
6). Select Every Time to offer the code every time you connect to LG TV.

1). Make sure to connect your iPhone and LG Smart TV to the same WiFi network.
2). Open the Control Center on the iPhone.

This should be your last resort after the above tips have been exhausted and still the TV is not connecting well.
Resetting the TV will erase everything on the TV that you have settings allowing you to set it up again from the start. Reset by going to Settings>> General >> Reset to Initial Settings.
